Rotary kiln belongs to building material equipment, it is the main equipment in cement production process, so it is also called cement rotary kiln. Working Principle of Gypsum Powder Production Equipment Rotary Kiln

The rotary kiln is cylindrical container, tilting slightly to the horizontal axis and slowly rotating around its axis. The material to be processed is sent to the upper end of the cylinder. As the kiln rotates, the material moves downward gradually and may undergo a certain amount of agitation and mixing. Hot gas is sometimes the same as the furnace direction and process material, but usually the opposite direction (Ni Liu). Hot gas can be produced in an external furnace, or can be produced by flame in a kiln. This flame is projected from the burner tube (or ignition tube). It looks like a big burner. Fuel can be gas, oil or coal powder.
